FOCUS, established in 2023, empowers the Malayagam community through education, climate action, and sustainable development, addressing key social and environmental challenges for a brighter future.

Researching Malayagam dropout causes to guide programs, reduce rates, and improve long-term education outcomes.

FOCUS collaborates with authorities to promote eco-friendly farming practices, reducing waste and encouraging healthier agriculture.
Despite limited funding, FOCUS has made significant strides. We have empowered over 500 youth through leadership programs, supported nearly 30 migrants with safe migration, conducted extensive research on school dropouts and SRHR, and implemented climate action initiatives like tree planting. Our ongoing efforts in voter education and women’s empowerment reinforce our commitment to creating more inclusive, sustainable communities in Sri Lanka.
